This is with reference to our announcement for the 4th Hindukush Cultural Conference Chitral August 12-14, 2006.
Due to the October 8, earthquake our time and resources were dedicated to the rehabilitation work in NWFP, Azad Jamu and Kashmir. It was due to this natural hazard, we could not get funding for the 4th International Hindukush Cultural Conference 2006. We regretfully announce the postponement of the conference for these reasons.
However, we shall keep the programme intact with the same theme, objectives and scope. Hopefully we shall come up with our next announcement as soon as we are able to get funding for the conference. The inconvenience so caused is regretted.
